Witch Hazel
A genus of flowering plants in the family Hamamelidaceae. Witch hazel has many benefits for skin, including relieving inflammation.
Castor Oil
A vegetable oil pressed from castor beans. Castor oil’s fatty acids are natural humectants, substances used to moisturize the skin by preventing water loss. This effect can promote good skin health, relieve dryness, and soothe skin inflammation. It may also have the potential to accelerate wound healing.
Jojoba Oil
A liquid produced in the seed of the Simmondsia chinensis plant. Jojoba oil is rich in the skin-nourishing antioxidant Vitamin E plus Vitamins A and D. It also contains the minerals chromium, copper, and zinc, plus Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids. All good-for-you stuff that will plump up your skin and help keep it healthy.
Essential Oil Blend
High therapeutic grade essential oils steam distilled from the leaves and flowers of plants.
Sally Lloyd –
Went on a hike yesterday and sprayed this stuff all over me. Not a single bug bite on my 8 mile hike. It doesn’t have an overly citronella smell either. The jojoba oil is a nice touch too for a little added softening to my skin. Smells and works well. My only recommendation is a bigger bottle option.
